Jake Milburn is an independent cellist who plays in orchestras, musical theater pits, and recording studios as a session musician. Jake Milburn offers services to multiple studios, small orchestras, and bands across the East Coast. These services include quality cello playing in order to bring to life the artistic vision brought in by the client. Jake Milburn sees himself both as a touring musician for multiple bands and as a consistent performer in symphony orchestras. Through session work and live performances, Jake Milburn is the outlet for artists to achieve the sounds that their creativity desires.

Over the past 14 years, Jake Milburn has worked to further his expertise as an independent cellist. Most recently, he has been pursuing a BM at Berklee College of Music. During his time at Berklee as well as The Boston Conservatory, he has studied under numerous reputable musicians including Andrew Mark, Mike Block and Jeremy Harman. Under Harman and Block, he has participated in ensembles that focus on blending classical and contemporary styles of playing such as Pop, Rock, Jazz, Folk, World Music, and more. These experiences have shaped the musician that Jake is today.
